Our Ingredients

Peanut Butter
Not all Peanut Butter is created equal, especially when it comes to the health and safety of your dog. Peanut Butter can contain toxic ingredients, like xylitol (a sugar substitute) and other ingredients that our dogs simply do not need (additives, preservatives and sugar). When our recipes call for peanut butter, we choose natural peanut butter that contains one ingredient: Roasted Peanuts.

Eggs
Many of our treats and custom cakes contain eggs. We use farm fresh eggs which are produced locally on our family farm, and from other small family farms in our local community on the NH Seacoast. Our eggs and egg whites are cage free.

Flours
We use only human grade fours in all of our recipes. These may include whole wheat flour, rice, almond, and oat flour.

Gluten or Grain Free
Almond flour is made from finely ground, blanched almonds. Unlike other milled
flours, almond flour is grain-free, gluten-free, and low in carbohydrates, making it. Our dogs have no biological requirements for carbohydrates, therefore this premium ingredient is one of the healthiest choices we can make when a recipe calls for flour.

Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are not only important in our diets but are very important for your dog too! In several of our recipes we use fresh fruits and vegetables, which may include carrots, apples, blueberries, sweet potatoes and pumpkin to provide valuable nutrients and antioxidants.

Honey
The honey we use is produced by bees which live and happily pollinate the small family farms on the NH Seacoast and in New England. These bees mainly produce wildflower, apple blossom and clover honey which is light in color and gives the treat a pleasantly sweet taste. Honey is full of the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants your dog needs to stay happy and healthy. It can also help control allergy symptoms and skin issues.
